2 Hour Lunch

Took my first 2 hour lunch here in UK. Heard about 'em. Weren't sure if they existed. Went with a group of co-workers to the local pub, had a few Guinness's. Shot of some weird liquor called Karakken. Looking at youtube videos now, trying to drink some water and remember this is a Tuesday. Saying I love it here could be...the Krakken? I thought I would share what kinds of videos on youtube I've just watched back to back. Flight of the Conchords, German World War 2 Marching Song, and Clay Davis from the Wire saying his hallmark line. It's good to be weird. Keeps me on my toes.

A guy from work just broke up with his fiancee who he's been with for 4 years. Sent him a nice email that said "there's other fish in the sea?" and included the above video.

I hung out with some German's on July 4th - 6 of them to be precise. They played some random German marching song from WW2. OK. It's fairly catchy. And no, I'm not a Nazi. I don't think. They've got nothing to do with Hitler or any Nazi propaganda - this one's about a chick named Erika.

The Wire is big now in my office and everyone is sharing the DVDs and quoting lines from it and arguing over whether or not they like Stringer Bell or if Omar is the coolest character. Obviously, tossing around some Clay Davis "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat" lines at lunch made this crucial to track down on youtube.
