Normandy's back on the bucket list

It's just too expensive...like $400 just for transportation to and from Bayeux. That's crazy but I guess August is the peak vacation time for the French. Also, Normandy tours were like $400 - 550 for full day. This is for private tour, not the massive bus tour that takes you to the cemetary and drives by Omaha beach. Anyway...need a replacement trip with Katie and looks like Scotland. Normandy will have to wait until next year I guess.
