Holiday vs Christmas

I've been re-programed in the US to say: "Have a great Holiday." Back home, it's just not the PC thing to say to someone: "Have a great Christmas." Well, in the UK...it's the opposite. It's rude and strange to say have a great Holiday. Actually, I've been corrected and laughed at for calling Christmas a holiday. In work correspondence from customers, mass emails from the President of our division, etc. It's all about Christmas and wishing people a happy one. Boom. That's it. No left wing groups crying in their soups. No Jewish or Muslim folks up in arms.

Pretty straightforward. The US is really a funny place.

So, in closing. Ho Ho Ho. Have a great Christmas everyone!
