SALT!
While walking through a market in the small town of Antibes, France - which hugs the Mediterranean - I came across a salt vendor. Although I only took one picture, it was really amazing. I had recently, a day or two earlier, finished the book Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlanksy (which is amazing if you like history...and salt).
If salt were a drug, this dude would be Tony Montana. No joke. He would literally be one of the richest men in the known world if, say, he had the same stall in like the 12th century.
