I was just listening to Spotify (similar to Pandora if you don't know) and a commercial came on from the Met Police with the tag line: "nearly 1 in 5 murders come from domestic violence." Then they played a 15 second sound clip of some terrifying British guy screaming at his wife and some kids crying in the background. At the very end he starts to beat her. I basically spit out coffee all over my keyboard. Maybe they thought I wasn't disturbed enough, as they played it again! Serioulsy? What the hell.
The PSA advertisments in Europe and UK are really intense. The drunk driving PSA's are down right terrifying. I was in Edinburgh and had a fever (Katie was out walking around) and on came this anti-DUI advert where they show for 30 seconds super graphic pictures of fatalities. I had no idea if I'd just hallucinated that or actually saw it. I had PTSD from that sh*t.
Geez guys. Take it easy...
