Brasserie Bofinger

Got reservations for Brasserie Bofinger in Paris this Saturday. It's on many top 10 brasserie lists I've found so I don't think you could go wrong. A brasserie is basically a type of relaxed upscale French restaurant and would be more formal than a bistro or cafe. As typical, they're also open 7 days a week and stay open late. This particular one I'm going to specializes in Alsatian cuisine.

The Alsatian region of France borders Germany (and the French and Germans had several wars over control of this area), the food is a German-French fusion. For instance, sauerkraut is typically used in certain dishes and they use a lot of pork. Also, the area is one of the world's best regions for Riesling wine.
