Oops, they should have done this a few years ago when all (but AA and Southwest) the airlines went through Bankruptcy, as most of these carriers are now turning profit. Hopefully my 60K miles will still be good...
On another note, London Heathrow took #1 for international air traffic (as read on CNNGo):
"London's Heathrow airport remained the busiest in the world, handling over 60 million international passengers. The big mover was South Korea's Incheon, which moved into the top ten in 2010. Madrid fell out of the top 10, Incheon moved into 8th place and Tokyo dropped from 8th in 2009 to 9th."
1. London (Heathrow), United Kingdom: 60.9 million passengers per year
If you add domestic and international, it's of course Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson. But in terms of looks, LHR is pretty badass. It's really easy to get around, great food, and looks nice with all the exposed steel and glass everywhere. Hurray for Heathrow.
