Well, I failed National Novel Month

On paper at least. I didn't even make it half way to 50,000 words by the last day of November. But, I still feel good about the 21,450 words I was able to churn out. I had a few friends and family that gave me excellent advice and have continued on. At this point I'm not worried about getting this ready for the Amazon Breakthrough novelist award mid-january. I just don't think it would make sense. Next year probably. Unless, by an act of the Great Writing God, I'm able to churn out 150 pages this month of excellent, polished prose. Probably not =) It was fun and definitely good motivation. I think I will definitely do this again next year and try to get at least half way next time.
