I ate these little guys on Sunday at Wright Brothers Oyster House in SoHo and winkle you know it, they were really hard to eat. Zing! Winkle puns aside, they weren't very good. Actually, half them I couldn't get the "stuff" - or whatever it was that lived inside - out of the shell. Anyway, if you're at a seafood place and winkles are on the menu...my advice is definitely to not winkle. Have Zero winkles and you will be happy. If you even have one winkle...that's already too many winkles.
